Introduction
Gather a collection of signals onto a single channel to adjust overall processing.
Think of drum mics – there are multiple microphones to capture this instrument. Once desired levels are achieved for the individual microphone channels, each could be sent to a group to adjust the overall levels, on-board EQ or external processors.
Steps to Use
MAGGIE
- Route audio into a channel
- Raise the input gain
- Raise the channel fader
- Assign channel to “1-2”
- Raise fader for groups “1-2”
- Assign Group 1 to “L”
- Assign Group 2 to “R”
SZF & AWX
- Route audio into a channel
- Raise the input gain
- Raise the channel fader
- Assign track bus to “1”
- Raise track bus master “1”
- Patch Track Bus through a signal chain or directly onto an open channel
