Troubleshooting
This page is recommended for anyone experiencing any issues with Soundcheck2D.
Launching the Application
Mac:
Application should be correctly named "Soundcheck2D". Any other format could cause startup issues.
Windows:
- Application should be correctly named "Soundcheck2D". Any other format could cause startup issues.
- Application should be extracted & launched from within the directory of the users profile. "Documents" is a safe place for troubleshooting.
Example: Cdrive>Users>"username">Documents
Some Windows machines will have the downloads & desktop under the userprofle, some will not and will require troubleshooting.
Activations
- Soundcheck2D requires an account - Register Here
- Requires a strong internet connection to download most recent update upon activation.
Updates
- Requires a strong internet connection to download most recent update upon activation.
Audio Issues
- When switching the soundcard i/o settings. The audio engine needs to be re-enabled (set to ON) for sound to be heard again
- Make sure devices are powered ON.
- Buffer/Vector Settings can cause issues will playback quality if set incorrectly.
Audio File Playback Issues
- Ensure the audio engine is ON in the SETTINGS
- Make sure audio file does not contain slash or backslash characters . Not only in the filename but in the entire filepath in the computer directory
- Monitor the FilePlayer to confirm the audio files are playing back
- See if the tutorial audio file loads by performing the basic starter tutorial
Uninstalling / Reinstall
- Download the SCP_Uninstaller
- Run the Uninstaller
- right-click uninstaller to open on MAC
- Both "Install Folder Located" & "Install Located" need to be verified for uninstall to begin. There are indicators in the uninstaller.
- Once uninstalled run SoundcheckPro and reactivate.
NOTE~ ~ This process does NOT clear activations to be used on another device. Contact support.
